OFFICE MANAGEMENT AND EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT PROGRAM
Who is an Executive Assistant?
A person who assists the manager in the appropriate management of resources
(human, information, monetary and material, etc.) planned and coordinated by
the manager in order to achieve the determined goals and objectives in the
business.
What are the Duties of an Executive Assistant?
To ensure that the office operates in the most efficient way,
• Conducts office management procedures,
• Conducts incoming and outgoing documents and filing procedures,
• Makes phone calls, delivers incoming letters and pictures to the manager,
arranges appointments, welcomes guests,
• Prepares the necessary documents for the manager,
• Organizes meetings,
• Makes travel arrangements,
• Maintains and repairs the office equipment and ensures that they are used
in the most efficient way.

• To train office staff, office managers and executive assistants who are
equipped with the knowledge and skills to meet their needs

Main Courses Taught in the Program
The duration of education is 2 years. Students take the following courses
during the education and training period.
a) General Culture Courses: Turkish Language, Atatürk's Principles and Revolution
History, Foreign Language.
b) Vocational Courses: Mathematics, Computer, General Business, Secretarial
Knowledge, Keyboarding Techniques, Basic Concepts of Law, Protocol Knowledge,
Economy, General Communication, Organizational Behavior, Filing and Archiving
Techniques, Professional Correspondence, Office Management, Public-Private
Sector Structure and Relations, Presentation Techniques and Management and
Organization are taught.
